In this activity, students must prepare a self-presentation during which they talk about themselves, listing three personal qualities along with specific examples of how those qualities appear in their lives. At the time I created this activity, the students were studying personal qualities, so this activity gives them the opportunity to practice the vocabulary. In addition, I created a rubric to evaluate the students' presentations. Seeing the usefulness of the rubric, I modified it to create a second one that is more generic to use to evaluate other types of speaking presentations. Below are both rubrics:
