Question Tags Worksheet

Brandon Crowder

Here is a worksheet that I designed for practicing question tags. First, students complete the top half of the worksheet by writing descriptive sentences about themselves. Then, they trade with their classmates to complete the bottom half of a DIFFERENT worksheet. In the bottom half, students must take the sentences from the top half that their classmates have written and turn them into statements with question tags. For example, if the first student writes, "I like to play football with my friends," then the next student should write, "You like to play football with your friends, don't you?".

At first glance, this seems like a typical Student A-Student B activity. Although it is similar, the main difference is that the worksheet must not be cut, and each half of the worksheet is done at a time as opposed to two students working on both halves together at the same time. The printable worksheet is available below.
